Subaru gives its customers tire warranty from the tires purchased either from Subaru or its associated stores in the US. With the warranty, a customer is assured of Subaru’s commitment to repair and replace the tire in case of damage covered in the warranty in the cause of the warranty period. A Subaru customer has to sign a warranty certificate and keep it for the record and always communicate with Subaru in case of any tire damage to enjoy the benefits of the warranty. Subaru also offers its customers a variety of warranty types and allows the customers to choose the plan they most prefer that can last up to seven years.

What Subaru tire warranty covers?

Tire damages due to road hazards

The road hazard examples are road debris, nails, potholes, etc. that might cause damage to the tire. Subaru gives its customers a warranty to replace or repair the tire once reported to them and will be done in Subaru authorized service centers.

Flat tire repair

In the event a customer tire has been damaged and needs to be repaired, Subaru warranty covers up to a maximum cost of $50 of flat tire repair. Hence if the repair cost is less than $50, a customer will not have a pay a dime but if it is more than $50, the customer will pay the difference. This helps the customer to reduce the expenses they would have incurred if they did not have a tire warranty in place.

Tire mounting and balancing

Subaru tire warranty also covers the cost of mounting, balancing the tires on a vehicle, and disposal of tires. Once the customer with a warranty communicates with Subaru and informs them of the damage on the tire or tires, Subaru directs the customer to the nearest service station where the customer will be served and Subaru will cater for the costs.

Tire replacement

At times the tire damage is way past repair, the customer has not to worry as Subaru tire warranty covers tire replacement relieving the customers of the cost of purchasing a new tire.

Rim repair and replacement

The tire warranty also covers the cost of rim replacement in case of severe damage or repair in case of minor damage. The customer need not worry about how to get their rim repaired or replaced in case of causes of damage within the warranty terms and conditions.

The customers are eligible for up to $50 a day to a maximum of four days rental car benefit from Subaru in case their tire repair or replacement will require an overnight repair or replacement. This means Subaru will help the customer cover all the cost of a rental car in case it is not more than $50 a day or part of it in case it is more than $50 a day. This is a relief to the customer as they will not have to cut short their activities because their car tire is damaged.

Subaru also offers its customers 24/7 roadside assistance like towing, jump start, flat tire, fluid delivery, and lockout assistance to a maximum of $150 per occurrence, limited to three incidents per 12 month period.
